The Court Program Analyst, ADA Access Coordinator, will work in partnership with persons with disabilities, judges, court administrators, court staff handling ADA accommodations requests, Equity and Access Program team members, the newly created Washington Supreme Court Disability Justice Task Force, and other judicial system partners, to remove barriers and ableist systems that create inequitable outcomes for people with disabilities at all levels in our court system. This position will provide strategic coordination, advocacy, training, and technical assistance to courts to support their compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Washington State Law Against Discrimination, and other applicable federal and state laws, regulations, court rules, standards, guidelines, and policies. This position will also consult with persons with disabilities, conduct research, and recommend and implement policy changes and system improvements to help courts better meet the needs of persons disabilities and ensure equal access to justice.
