Seattle City Council is seeking a 2-year temporary advisor on Seattle’s criminal legal system. Especially seeking those with strong racial equity analysis, lived experience with the legal system, and/or a history of policy analysis on these intersections topics:
The person in this position will work with Council staff and City departments, including the Legislative Department. The responsibilities would include creating a strategic plan to implement recommendations of the Reentry Work Group among other projects (http://www.seattle.gov/Documents/Departments/CivilRights/Reentry%20Workgroup%20Final%20Report.pdf).
