This highly interactive program is designed for defenders who want to improve their public defense skills. Using a combination of lecture and small group exercises, participants will develop better skills for client-centered representation and courtroom advocacy. Space is limited. Preference will be given to applicants who are new to public defense, and those practicing in rural jurisdictions.
