OPD CLE – Marshall Class Part 2
This training will focus on the racially disproportionate effect of ER 609 and explore ways to challenge the use of prior conviction impeachment against indigent clients. Attorneys will then bring their own hypothetical legal scenarios into small breakout sessions for further in-depth discussion.

The class is limited to 15 participants. Participation in any class in the Marshall Series includes an invitation to join in online discussions focusing on disproportionality in the legal system in Washington.

This program is open to highly skilled, experienced attorneys who desire to increase their ability to assess and understand the disparate impacts of bias and racism in the legal context.
