This CLE is dedicated to and intended for those fighting Washington’s mass incarceration through reducing prison sentences at the front end and back end through ‘second look” opportunities. We will discuss strategies and practical tips in cases involving resentencing, early release from the IRSB, clemency, pardons, and extraordinary medical placement.

Trial attorneys will benefit from learning about resources and services in DOC and legal pathways/procedures for early release following a conviction and sentence.

This CLE will be free and available to defense attorneys and team members and legal volunteers who work in this area or who are interested in learning more about this area.
