Gause Law Offices, a boutique criminal defense firm located in Tukwila, WA seeks experienced associate attorney to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a WA licensed attorney who has at least 2-5 years of prior criminal defense experience in Washington.

You will be expected to “hit the ground running” taking felony cases from Day 1 with little training or hand-holding. You will be assigned cases on your own (solo) and also some cases with another attorney. You will be expected to utilize and supervise our collaborative paralegal support team efficiently to ensure productive work flow and consistent client communication. You must have a demonstrated commitment to criminal defense practice – with the passion and heart to vigorously defend our clients’ constitutional rights. We also pride ourselves here on a robust and excellent motion writing practice. Our top candidate will be an excellent writer who is excited about the opportunity to grow their writing advocacy.

We are looking for someone that is adaptable, positive, and ethical while thriving in a fast-paced environment. You must be technologically savvy, an independent self-starter, patient, organized, and a creative problem-solver. Skills in business management, customer service and/or sales are appreciated, as you will be tasked with speaking with potential new clients. In addition, you will be expected to step into a leadership role during any period that our lead attorney is unavailable, including supervision of all team members and case management of all active matters.
