Salary: $29.32 – $37.17 per hour

Job Duties

  • Provide a high level of administrative support and coordination to DPD’s Training Coordinator and program
  • Coordinate communication via multiple methods concerning details, application process and availability of in-house trainings
  • Receive, organize and submit registration for trainings. Provide logistical support for staff attending outside trainings including travel arrangements, registration and fee payments as needed
  • Assist in delivering training to staff, particularly non-attorney staff, as appropriate
  • Maintain a database of law school contacts and intern recruiting events.  Work with the Training Coordinator to ensure that recruiting events are appropriately staffed
  • Assist with ensuring access to training materials including but not limited to: facilitating Skype attendance at trainings, recording trainings when appropriate, and posting training materials to the collaborative SharePoint site
  • Take care of logistics of training including, but not limited to, setting up rooms, food and taking care of other needs of presenters. Communicate with presenters and internal staff regarding travel needs and arrange for transportation as needed
  • Handle payment details, reimbursement, and track disbursements around trainings. Process reports in Oracle
  • Assist the Training Coordinator with gathering, organizing, and prioritizing future training needs. Create elements to track participants in training, demographics, and funding
  • Work on the ground with vendors to ensure quality assurance and to troubleshoot. Apply for continuing education credits and report attendance as needed to relevant agencies
  • Assist with the design of training evaluations to optimize use and increase participation. Create surveys, summarize data collected and report to Training Coordinator
  • Assist HR with setting up intern interviews, track the hiring process; liaison with HR concerning on-boarding of interns
  • Assist with the tracking of training budget; negotiating prices, reviewing contracts and making decisions regarding best value
  • Track employee training records within PeopleSoft
  • Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment. Lead meetings concerning logistics with division staff for large scale trainings
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
