Thurston County Public Defense is currently recruiting for one Legal Assistant I.  Placement for this position will be in the Juvenile and Dependency unit. This position serves as a primary customer service representative by providing assistance in explaining detailed regulations, procedures and complex requirements within the legal or judicial system. This position also researches and answers questions or inquiries from the public, law enforcement, or other agencies and reviews files, sets up files, and inputs case information into a database system.
