The Administrative Office of the Courts, Office of Court Innovation (OCI) is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join the Equity and Access Team to help make “Justice for All” a reality in the court system!
The OCI Equity and Access Program Supervisor coordinates and supervises a team of skilled professionals to help courts serve the growing needs of self-represented persons (or “unrepresented litigants”) in Washington State. The Court Equity & Access Program also works to address the needs of court users from communities that have been historically marginalized and oppressed with the least access to justice. This position will lead implementation of the program’s Five-Year Strategic Plan and will work with their AOC colleagues and statewide and national partners to identify and break down barriers to access to justice, focusing on the experience of the unrepresented court user who is least likely to receive equitable access. An understanding of intersectional inequities and disparities in our court system, their impacts and the role that courts play in perpetuating these inequities is required for this position.
