District Court—Misdemeanors A minimum of 9 contracts are expected to handle a projected 3,800 district court misdemeanor cases. Cases are defined by a high/medium/low status as indicated. High 1.5: DUI, physical control, DWS-1, reckless driving, racing, hit & run-attended, A4-DV, harassment-DV, A4-Sexual Motivation, animal cruelty. Medium 1.0: Deferred pros. revocation, criminal trespass 1-2, theft-3, vehicle prowl, hit & run-unattended, neg driving-1, DWS 2-3, NCOV, mal misch-3, A4, interfere w/ reporting, reckless endangerment, PCS, & all other misdemeanors Low 0.5: Cases resolved at first appearance and probation violations. Annual compensation for a full contract is $142,000; 1/12th monthly payments. Values as indicated: 1.5-point $500; 1.0-point $375; 0.5-point $250.
