Cowlitz Law Group PLLC, a Washington State law firm affiliated with Birch Bay Law Group, is seeking a Senior Contract Attorney to join our team on a 1099 independent contractor basis for matter-based engagements.

About the Role
This is a fully remote position open to qualified attorneys located anywhere in Washington State. Engagements are matter-based with no minimum hours required, allowing for a flexible schedule that accommodates an independent practice or other professional commitments.

Compensation
Up to $250 per billable hour, commensurate with experience and matter complexity.

Practice Areas
Cowlitz Law Group handles matters in family law, estate planning and probate, criminal defense, real estate, business law, personal injury, bankruptcy, tax, and litigation.

Qualifications
– Active licensure with the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA), in good standing
– Minimum of five (5) years of legal practice experience in Washington State
– Family law and litigation experience strongly preferred
– Demonstrated legal research, writing, and case management skills
