Under the Constitution and court rules, prosecutors must provide certain information to the defense. This CLE will address what information prosecutors must share. Specifically, Peter Kahl, an attorney with Thurston County Public Defense, will talk about the State’s obligations under Brady v. Maryland and CrR/LJ 4.7, including a discussion of what information is under the State’s control. He will also address remedies for the State’s failure to provide information it should, including sanctions and dismissals.
*Please note, each program in our Discovery Series is a stand-alone webinar. You do not need to attend the entire series if you are unable to.
