Ethics 2020

Ethics 2020
WDA is excited to announce that December will be Ethics month, and that we will be moving our Ethics training into a virtual format! Although we are disappointed that we cannot see everyone in person, we still have a great lineup planned; the month’s program consists of 1 live CLE and 4 pre-recorded CLEs, resulting in a total of 6 Ethics credits towards meeting your annual bar requirements. The program kicks off on 12/4 at 12:00 pm with a 2 hour CLE from OPD’s Barbara Harris and Gideon Newmark entitled “Antiracism for Trial Attorneys.” Registration for this webinar is now open, so sign up today by emailing with “Antiracism” as the subject line.

The pre-recorded sessions will be available beginning on 12/4, and will be available for you to complete at any time. The four webinars are:

  • Judicial Misconduct 101: Preserving the Record and Finding Recourse for Your Client, presented by Rania Rampersad
  • Crime and Consequence- The Impact of Criminal Charges and Conditions on Professional Licensing, presented by Jennifer Serafin
  • Autism and Criminal Law, presented by Chris Rebholz
  • Communication during a Pandemic- Keeping the Client Informed, presented by Kevin Flannery

The sessions will cover a variety of timely topics, and we hope that you will appreciate the more relaxed pace of the program during such a hectic year.
