This seminar addresses the ways to challenge the affidavit of an alleged victim as was accredited by State v. Smith 97 Wn.2d 856, 651 P.2d 207 (1982). This will include application of evaluation of relevant evidence rules, statutory assessment case law, the US Constitution Confrontation Clause and the attorney’s ethical duties – Relevant Rules of Professional Conduct.
