This CLE is intended for those fighting to end Washington’s mass incarceration. We will discuss strategies for investigating, presenting and litigating mitigation and practical tips in cases involving resentencing and other forms of early release from prison.

People with lived experience of lengthy incarceration will share their perspectives and recommendations for defenders when representing a person facing, or serving a long sentence.

This CLE will be free and available to defense attorneys and team members and legal volunteers who work in this area or who are interested in learning more about this area.
