Join WDA on Friday, May 1 for a one-hour webinar that will encourage defenders to argue for release of their clients from jail during the COVID 19 crisis and give them tools they can use to do that. D’Adre Cunningham, WDA’s Incarcerated Parents Project Resource Attorney, and Magda Baker, WDA’s Misdemeanor Resource Attorney, will discuss what information about COVID 19 to include in release motions, the legal grounds for release motions, and Rules of Professional Conduct that apply to release motions. There will be time for questions, and D’Adre and Magda will gather some information from attendees by way of polls. 0.5 Law and Legal and 0.5 Ethics credits have been requested.
