About us: Grimm Law Group, PLLC (GLG) is a private law practice with 5 misdemeanor criminal defense contracts. The firm primarily handles misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor cases. Washington State has established a limit to the number of cases a public defender can handle. The firm strives to maintain a caseload for each associate even below that limit, but we cannot ever exceed that limit. As a benefit to being part of a private firm, associates are encouraged take on private felony or civil cases if they desire, which provides a potential to expand beyond criminal defense to a degree. Grimm Law Group, PLLC provides a new attorney the opportunity to “dabble” in different areas of law to find the area that interest them while still earning a regular steady salary. It is our mission to provide quality representation to both court appointed clients as well as our private clients. Many of our associates are hired directly out of Law School. GLG provides an atmosphere in which associates can learn and gain valuable experience in our chosen career. GLG provides as much guidance as associates may require, allowing them to be successful. GLG enjoys an open-door policy with the owner of the firm as well as with the more senior associates for questions and brainstorming cases. GLG provides a very comfortable work atmosphere and has developed a strong team dynamic. The firm provides very efficient support staff consisting of 2 legal assistants and 3 receptionists. Associates have the freedom to work remotely on days for which court appearances are not scheduled. This kind of position is perfect for the new law school graduate to get experience quickly that will translate easily across all areas of practice.
