Full-Time District Court Misdemeanor Defense Attorney

Kottkamp, Yedinak & Esworthy is seeking a motivated attorney to join our team in the beautiful Chelan County, Washington. This is an in-house position.
Responsibilities:
- Handling a full or nearly full caseload of misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor cases.
- General duties will include meeting with clients, attending court hearings, legal research, arguing motions, and conducting trials.
- Sharing on-call duties for the DUI phone.
- Sharing duties for preliminary appearances.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the Washington State Bar Association.
- Ideally some experience in criminal defense.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
