Periscope Legal is seeking a full-time attorney to join our growing firm. We have offices in Oak Harbor and Anacortes, WA that provide public defense services for those cities. We are a client-centered firm. In-person court appearances are required. Outside of court, we offer opportunities to work from home or in office at your preference. 

We are looking for an attorney capable of representing clients from arraignment through trial and sentencing, investigating discovery, drafting motions and managing a caseload. Criminal law experience is a plus.

New attorneys and February 2026 bar takers encouraged to apply. We provide high-level and hands on training in all phases of criminal practice including client meetings, arraignment, pretrial hearings, trial preparation, plea negotiations, jury trial and sentencing. Primary caseload consists of misdemeanors and would be a great learning opportunity for new attorneys.

Salary DOE, starting at $90,000. Full-time with benefits: health insurance, dental insurance, generous paid time off, 401K eligibility with employer match, and student loan payments covered.
