OPD will enter into a contract or contracts with paralegals and/or legal assistants to: support attorneys and organizations who provide legal services to individuals who may be eligible for Blake relief throughout Washington state courts, particularly individuals in custody of DOC or in the custody of corrections systems outside of Washington state.  Such services will include: drafting, preparing, and proofreading legal documents; conducting legal research and fact-checking; assisting in the preparation of legal arguments and claims; and organizing, maintaining, and preparing billing documents. View application procedures.
