Looking for change, but not sure where to start? WDA’s Leadership Development Program will take place before the Defender Conference on April 27, 1-6 pm and April 28, 8-11:30 am at Sun Mountain Lodge in Winthrop, WA. Learn and develop foundational skills for effective leadership while exploring the unique role of defenders in our justice system. We will identify opportunities for leadership within local and statewide defender communities and beyond. This program is open to all, and the mission of the program is to develop defenders into effective leaders, advocates and agitators for advancing innovative ideas for clients and communities.
