Supreme Court:
State v. Richards: Court of Limited Jurisdiction lacks statutory authority to order forfeiture of ownership of a dog as a condition of sentence.
Appellate Courts:
State v. Hogan: The sole purpose of GR 37 is to eliminate the unfair exclusion of juror based on race or ethnicity, not on gender identity without any connection to views on race or ethnicity. (Div. 1).
State v. Lone: It was not an abuse of discretion to impose an exceptional sentence upward which was jointly agreed by the defendant served the interest of justice. (Div. 3).
State v. Hanley: Accomplice liability only describes actions taken to help the alleged offender preceding the crime, while actions taken to help the alleged offender after the crime must be charged as rendering criminal assistance to be sufficient. (Div. 3).
State v. Clary: Sealed juvenile class A convictions are still convictions which disqualify a person from restoring their right to restore the right to possess a firearm under state law. (Div. 1).
In Guardianship of F.S.: The best interest of the child standard as applied by the Court may usurp the parent’s choice of guardian, even if the nominated guardian is capable of providing adequate care. The Trial Court did not abuse its discretion in keeping F.S. with the original limited guardian where a bond had developed. (Div. 2).
